Founded by a college swimmer turned coach, SwimScout is a swimming-specific data analytics platform that generates recruitment reports that are relevant to your team. We enable coaches to connect with recruits that fit their program perfectly.
What We Do
With the existence of worldwide services such as Swimrankings,
TAS Power Rankings,
and USA Swimming Times Search, swimming data is all around us.
We use sophisticated techniques to interact with these databases to get the answers that we want.
The way that we leverage this data to serve our clients is by producing Recruitment Reports.
Recruitment Reports contain valuable swimmer information such as name, club, top 3 swims, and FINA points by event.
You can use this information to:
- Find swimmers from the same club to plan a recruitment trip
- Design a recruit profile to track their progress through the season
- Allocate scholarship money and anticipate walk-ons
But that's not all. If you know your target audience, SwimScout can help you find exactly the type of swimmer you want without having to spend hours scanning the rankings.
Let's say you want to target swimmers currently in Grade 11, within 1-3% of your national championship time standard. We can give you all of that information, and more. We can give you information on any subset of any recruiting class so that you can focus your efforts on recruiting the right kids. This saves coaches time, money, and frustration so that they can focus on coaching!

- Every first-year university swimmer typically has to pay for tuition, accommodation, and other athletic fees to the university.
- For a single swimmer, this means that they are generating at least $15-20,000 in revenue for the university, if not much more.
- This does not include the next 3-4 years where the total sum could become $40,000 or more.
